Benji Chapman

Benji is a freelance journalist and creative.

Starting off as a writer for the University of Bristol’s student newspaper, Epigram, he quickly fell in love with the local culture scene.

As a contributor and intern at Bristol24/7 he has been able to explore this world from a variety of new perspectives.

More recently he has been writing copy for local businesses as a way of earning some money alongside his academics and part-time work at a local pizza shop.

Within this role he has found his feet as a creative, learning to pair unique ideas with eloquent wordplay.

Now that he’s learned how to use a camera, when he’s not making pizza, he’s usually trying to get his head around a feature of InDesign to create a new creative project or magazine.

His favourite pizza topping is beef ragu, his favourite producer is J Dilla, and he is a vocal advocate for pulling out shazam at the nightclub.
